OK
so It crashed and crashed again about 20 times over last couple of days,
I had the latest version and to make sure its not an update issue I installed previous version, unfortunately it continues crashing,
I start AE and then after a minute it either disappears or I lose control, - does not react to mouse clicks/freezes (although the sound continues and then everything disappears).
no popups no windows alert - just disappears,
