Audio Spectrum > create flat bars?

Hello all,

My first post here and i'm sure it will be the first of many.

I need to produce a very simple effect, but the Audio Spectrum effect seems to only produce audio bars with rounded edges.

I have attached 2 images for reference

(of course I just cheated using mask to give this result, but it not a solution)

I appreciate any advice or recommendation!
