I'm editing a video for a client but only have basic level After Effects knowledge, so am wondering if someone can advise.
I've got a piece of footage of a device which continuously flashes green when switched on. Unfortunately, the device's light ring was broken on the day of filming and so a full light circle is not apparent in the footage (there are dark areas within the green circle).. Please see photo.
Can somebody tell me the quickest/easiest way to create the effect of a full green light circle, which flashes on and off slowly and continuously, baring in mind the footage is not 100% static (there is some very subtle movement).
I'm working on CS6.
