Double exposure effect using rotoscope? Please Help!

I would like to create a double exposure effect like this one done in photoshop

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GesHc9y_zVY

I can't quite figure out how to do it, lets say the face is moving slightly, so I would rotoscope a mask around it, however how to I keep the background image within this mask? Can I use the same mask twice?

Thanks for any help
