Issues with importing track data from Mocha AE

Hey all, I'm having a very frustrating issue with AE/Mocha

I track in mocha and it all tracks perfectly, and i align my surface to the frame I want as so

then I import the tracking data to after effects

And I try both the corner pin and the transform options applied to a solid (separately obviously, not stacked)

This immediately transforms my solid to be not at all in line with the Surface i set in mocha, and not at all tracked to the scene.

I've tracked successfully with Mocha in the past, but for some reason it just doesnt want to work for me recently. am I missing something obvious?
