AE crash on preview

My AE crash (immediately close without any pop up error message) when preview project (don´t have a specific time, sometimes at the beginning, middle, end... of differents projects). Can anyone help me?

 

 

My Project
- It´s a slideshow, using about 20 HD photos

- Audio File (mp3)

- Some light effects on photo transition

 

My Computer

Windows 8.1 Single Language 64-bit

Intel Core i7 4790 @ 3.60GHz

16,0 GB RAM, Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 798MHz

4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 745

After Effects CC 2015

 

I leave the original settings of AE.

1080p JPEG sequence made from multiple images stretched or shrinked to fit.

I just shot a time lapse but some of it was digitally zoomed. The zoomed images are very low resolution. How can I create a JPEG sequence from all of the 400 images ranging from 800p all the way to 4k where they are all sized to fit 1080p and are stretched to fit all the corners (no black bars). Is it possible?

Video Rendering without Remove Grain Effect

I've been working on some footage in After Effects with a remove grain effect added. When I view stills of the project in my composition I can see the remove grain effect working, but as soon as I try to render the project, the rendered version is missing the effect. The other effects I'm using are definitely working. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!!

Deleted Audio Still Playing In Preview... HELP

Hey everybody.
deleted audio I didn't need and for some reason now when I preview the video/audio.. the audio from that file is still heard.. and not just parts I cut, its the whole sound clip.. Ruining my project.

When i am using Tracker , It appears a banner with a sentence : analyzing in background (step 1 of 2 ) , I don't konw how to make it disappear and when i render film it still there. Please tell me what i have to do , i really need to know the answer....

Where to begin re: custom After Effects image processing effects

I'd like to know what the best approach is towards making your own custom after effects effects. Especially regarding compatibility with the latest version of ae cc2015+

I have coded some image processing effects in java(Processing), and have some basic java script and python skills. Also I've done some basic parallel processing based effects using Max MSP gen, so I have some basic understanding of principles.

 

I saw some stuff regarding Pixel Bender, which I hadn't heard of until yesterday, it seems like one way to approach this, but then I saw somewhere that this has been discontinued?

 

Can anyone help me get started?

Best Practice when creating Comp settings

I used to work in AE very regularly, but my career moved away from motion graphics to graphic design.  Needless to say, I'm brushing dust off my AE knowledge for this current project.

 

I used to know few a good standard settings for broadcast television, but I've been asked to create something not for broadcast purposes. This current project is bumper animations which will play in a looped video of product footage at a trade show.  What is the safest composition size when the video will be playing on a widescreen HD TV?  The product footage looks to be HD 1080p and I'm pretty sure it's close to 30 fps.  I'm basing this on a video used previously by the client.  My supervisor has yet to actually give me any specifics.  He doesn't quite seem to understand what all goes into preparing video and my knowledge is not as in depth as I would like.

 

Any advice is appreciated! Thank you!

Saving project mid rotoscoping

Hi,

 

 

Apologies if this question has been asked and answered before/has a ridiculously obvious answer.

 

 

Basically I'm working in After Effects CS6 and I'm rotoscoping a 50 second sequence (a girl walking down some stairs in a floaty dress), the process is taking me a while do to the movement of her dress and so I was wondering if there is any way that I can save the project mod rotoscoping in order to return to it later without losing my progress with the rotoscoping I've already done.

 

Any help would be much appreciated!

No sound on tutorials

When i try to watch tutorials, i get no sound. I get sound on other apps such as news videos, YouTube, etc. My computer shows the sound bar bouncing but no sound comes from the speakers. What is wrong? Not good at computers so be step by step specific please.

Problemas con efecto de escritura con cursor- After Effects

Soy nuevo en esto y quiero hacer un texto que tenga un efecto de escritura con cursor, osea como si lo escribieran desde un pc.

Busque varios tutoriales y encontre un codigo que hace exactamente lo que quiero, el problema es que mi texto tiene una mitad con un tipo de fuente y la otra mitad con otra fuente y otro color, y al momento de integrale el codigo y reproducirlo el texto toma el efecto pero todo el texto aparace con el color y fuente de la primera mitad.

Agradeceria mucho que me pudieran ayudar.

Trying to move video smoothly under mask

Hi,

 

I have Adobe After Effects CC 15 and have a video where someone is looking at the TV. I'd like to replace what's on the TV with another video and so far I've managed to do that with a mask that tracks beautifully to knock out the screen. The trouble is, I can position/pull the underlying video OK, but the camera moves a little bit and I'm having trouble getting that second video to follow along smoothly. I've played around with the tracker and tried positioning it with keyframes (a lot of frames) but it still doesn't look as good as I know it can. Does this make sense and does anyone have an idea? Thanks!

Make custom colors for my particles in Particle World

Hi everybody,

 

I want to color all my particles in Particle World with specific custom (all kinds of) colors, like confetti.

Now I've used the colorama effect on it which works for my different colors, but....

Because of the Cycle Repetitions in the effect the color of each particle changes during time, but I want one particle to remain the same color.

If I set the Cycle Repetition to zero all different colors of the particles become just one color, so that's not a solution.

Anybody knows what to do to make my particles in Particle World all different kinds of colors (like confetti) without color changing?

Hope anybody can help me out, thanks in advance!!

I have no idea how this grid started appearing on my comps and can't figure out how to get rid of it now. Any ideas? No idea what this grid is called either, which makes it hard to google a solution.

After Effects Opacity Issues?

Hello,

 

I am currently working on a project that requires a shape to fly onto the screen over some text. However, after I animated it, it is rather opaque and I don't know why... The original picture is NOT opaque, nor is the opacity set to anything less than 100% in After Effects. Yes, the picture is above the text in the timeline.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Adobe CC 2015 licensing error

Hello,

 

I'm having an error for licensing process by Adobe CC 2015 for rendering. The Adobe CC 2015 has the latest patch\security 3.7.1,but when our render management calls for aerender.exe, the license utility process from Adobe show on the task manager and gives an error on our render management, "AfterEffects: error:<<unable to obtain a license>>."

 

Launching the AE works fine and I'm able to logged into CC cloud. But rendering is an issue. Before installing the patch\updates, everything is working fine.

 

Please help!!!!

Adobe After Effects lagging like crazy

I have 32GB of ram, and lots of memory, and I have all of the settings to the lowest,so that it will run, but I lowed a 30 minute video, and it said not responding for 10 minutes, and than when its done, I go to a different@ part of the video, and I have to wait another 10 minutes. Its super annoying.

How can I SAVE the preview after AE CC 2015??

Since it's upgraded to AE CC 2015, Adobe removes this feature that I actually use a lot. I wonder is there any workaround?

 

 

It is really helpful when you don't have time for a full render on a heavy render comp, yet you need to have a playable file for your client to review. Save preview is a life-saver in this situation.  But now it's gone, I can still use numpad 0 to preview my comp on timeline, I assume it's just one step away from what I need, which is save it on my hard drive!

Why does Vegas effect change direction when precomposed?

I had a line that shows a flow of energy and in the first composition it flowed right to left. i then precomposed that and brought it into another new composition and once it was in the new comp the flow was reversed - why would this happen - i didn't change any off the parameters of the original composition that contained the vegas effect - what do i need to do to lock down the direction
