Whats wrong with AE?
Something weird! I have AE on both Mac and PC and no matter what I do, I still just get the suize, 740x480 after coding in Adobe media encoder?? I noramlly always shoot in 1920x1080 but I still get a totally different output once through the media-encoder.

Mask falls out of place after render?
Hi, I worked on a motion mask for a couple hours and made sure to cover every frame. I did not miss a frame and I made sure that the FPS is the same in both the composition settings and render settings. The mask looks fine when I preview it (by pressing 0) and ive tried every camera view (full, quarter, third, etc) and it looks fine. However, when I render the file, the mask falls out of place as if I the frames have been compressed/displaced or switched around.

AE CC 2015 13.6 Very Slow Comp View Performance on OSX
Hi, I did a clean install of OS X El Capitan, and a fresh install of the latest AE 2014 and AE 2015.
The comp view update (frame rate navigation) is terrible on the new AE 13.6 (2015) compared to 13.2 (2014), and the problem doesn't seems to be with my mac configuration because 2014 is much better using exactly the same hardware and OS.
That means this new version is a great step back in basic performance.
I recorded a test for comparison using a very simple project:

You can notice that even with a single image layer we can't have a good view update.
This is a know issue? Will it be fixed? I'm stuck on 2014.

Can't interpret alpha with Prores 4444 in CC 2015
I have a couple Prores 4444 files that were exported from FCP. When I try to import them to AE CC 2015, alpha options in the interpret footage window are greyed out and no alpha shows in the viewport. Playing the file back with OS X Finder's Quick Look clearly shows an alpha channel. I found that older CS5 versions had an issue with this, and that it was fixed with CS5.5, but couldn't find any info on this happening with newer versions. I've never had CS5, or CS5.5 on this machine.

export all jumbled
I have done this a thousand times and this time for some reason I am trying to export and my mp4 comes out all jumbled (attached). The source matches the output in the render. No idea why this is happening. Any ideas?

After Effects error: could not allocate sound memory
I get an error in an timeline in After Effects CS5.5: "After Effects error: could not allocate sound memory ( 26 :: 392 )" It locks my timeline totally, and keep popping up every time I say "Ok".
Any solutions for this one?

After Effect error: Could not allocate sound memory
Trying to remain calm about this but how do I freaking deal with this error!?
I am at the point where I'm ready to ask Adobe to cancel the membership and give me back my money as I have been unable to do anything productive with After Effect because of this error! I have looked around for answers but none either works or solve the problem. Here's the following information as I need answers ASAP as to how to fix this:
Software:
- After Effect CC 2015 (Version 13.6.1.6)
- Error code: 26 :: 392
Laptop:
- Type: Macbook Pro
- Operating System: OS X Yosemite (version 10.10.5)
- RAM/Memory: 16 GB
How I temporarily solved:
- Used .MOV and .AIF for visual and audio instead of .MP4 and .MP3 - worked for 2 videos before error happened again
What have I done:
- tried .MP3, .MP4, .MOV, .AIF
- tried compressing my files
'Solutions' that doesnt work:
-> Uninstall Quicktime: I can not do that because my laptop will not allow it. That program is required in the system so uninstalling is out of the question
-> Using other programs: I do not have the money to trail and error any and all programs that supposedly fix the error

Make ANY effect Composite on/with Original?
Hi, I'm new in this world and I have one issue about effects in AE.
Like the title says, how can I make any effect transparent with the layer? Some effects has option called Composite on/with Original but some of them don't.
For example CC Rainfall and Advanced Lightning has this option but Foam effect don't...
I will provide some pics so I can make it easier to you guys to understand what I want.

Render Every Even or Odd Frame
Is there any tool or way to render every even or odd frame in AE?
Would be very cool if under the skip frame for multi machine processing was another check box for skip every frame or every to frames... Does anyone know how to do this?

Low resolution preview
Hi all,
I'm quite new to After Effects but I'm having an issue that I haven't had before. The preview pane is very low resolution and grainy which makes it really difficult to gauge what the end result will look like. It renders in high resolution but I cant seem to change the preview to make it higher resolution. I've put two screenshots to show what I mean. Not sure if you need to know any other info to help?

Help Rendering a 4608x1080 composition at 1920x1080 without letterboxes
Hi all!
I've been creating an animation from scratch within After Effects CC which was designed to fit on a screen with a resolution of 4608X1080. However, in order to hand the video off to the AV team to play on the screen, I'll need to give them a file with a typical 1080 resolution, and an anamorphic pixel aspect ratio, so that they can stretch the video back to fit the screen.
When I've tried to render the footage I can't figure out which codec and output settings will maintain the quality of the video, and will not use letter boxes.
Any tips?

After Effects NVIDIA Quadro M5000 Unsupported Problem
Hi guys,
i have a problem with my Nvidia Quadro M5000.
I checked for the last card and CUDA firmware update but i dint' solve my problem.
It seems that the card isn't supported by After Effects but is one of the best video card for Adobe :/

Changing language of AE CC 2015 to english
Hi!
I've been looking in the web for tutorials and guides to change my AE CC 2015 from spanish to english. Most of them say I need to go into the AMT Languages and change it from es_ES to en_US but I don't have such folder in my AE... I'm border line of madness here!
I have a Macbook pro 15" with Intel Core i7, OS X El Capitan 10.11.5.
I've also tried looking into preferences, but there is no option to change language.
I'd love some help =D

3d camera tracker points missing - After Effects CC
The viewer is in active view. 3d camera tracker effect and the track are both selected. The points only appear if the render tracking points box is checked. There's no ability to select points or interact with them. In the same project file, it worked before....now the points are not showing up in these comps. Is it the recent update causing issues? We've already deleted and reimported the track, we reset the 3d camera track effect. We also tried it on two different laptops. Please help!

Selecting one point of path from circle shape
Hi,
I'm working on a AE project where I'm placing a outlined circle shape over a excisting IMAGE that has a outlined circle too. I need them to be excatly the same. Now I'm trying to only select ONE point (center bottom) of the circle shape and move it, instead it also moves the top center one, that I dont want. I have searched the internet but it didn't help me.

Ae Opens file, then immediately re-opens it.
Has anyone experienced AfterFX (cc2015 13.7.1.6) opening a file - then immediately re-opening it? I have two machines doing this. I tried all of the following, in order: trashed prefs, emptied cache, cleaned media cache, uninstalled Ae and reinstalled. Same behavior with new files with no media in projects.
Perhaps unrelatedly, these two machines throw this error from AeRender.exe:
' Activating fonts for project that did not trigger a 'Missing fonts dialog' Probably because the font was already activated

RAM Preview Problem
Hi,
I have a problem with my Adobe After Effect CS6.
When i'm trying to play the video with RAM Preview. It just showing up 1 second(60 frames) only and it looped back.
I've tried to make the cache size more bigger and it didn't works.
Here's my computer's specification:
Windows 8.1 Pro
6GB RAM(s), 5.85 GB Usable
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2100 CPU @ 3.10GHz 3.10GHz, x64-based Processor
