No Audio on Adobe After Effects CC 2017 Playback ON ANY METHOD?

I've been trying my utmost best not to throw my laptop on the floor at this point. For the past two days, I have tried numerous clips, snippets and full on films to try and see why my AE CC 2017 WILL NOT PLAYBACK THE DAMN AUDIO. As far as I can tell all of the settings are by default and should work. I have imported many different files to test this and to no avail. I see the audio's green bar fill when I ctrl+scrub, nothing plays back or no green bar when I press space or (.), just the small red bar bleeping upon hearing the audio. The waveform is visible and all the sound icons are clearly not muted.I really need to get this to bloody work as I have less than 2 months to completed an Animatic and an Animation for my final year project. WHAT THE HECK SHOULD I DO!

Good day to all! I came across with this video presentation:

 

 

I need to make a presentation and I would love it to be similar to this one. I would like to ask you if you know somewhere where I can download After Effects effects like the ones used in the video. Something like an effects stock/depot/templates website where I can find effects like these...

 

Also, if you know of other video presentations that look like this and you can point me to them I can also get ideas from there.

After Effects CC 2017; Multiprocessing?

I haven't updated to CC 2017 yet, but it sounds as if they've made significant performance improvements to the render engine since CC 2015.  Considering this, has anybody tried it yet?  Is it still less efficient than CC 2014's "Render Multiple Frame Simultaneously" option?  In terms of rendering muli-layer compositions with many different transformation and distortion effects, is it wiser to stay on CC 2014 where I still have access to multiprocessing or should I invest the time to try out CC 2017?  Let me know how it works for you.

Warp stabalizer problem

I've been using the warp stabalizer for quite a while now and have not had any problems until now. Everytime warp stabalizer is stabalizing  my footage, it stops at 1-2% and says unable to acquire rendered frames. Ive been trying to fix this for 3 hours now and nothing seems to work. I am extremely frustrated. please help

Frame Rate option missing in Preview tab.

Hi, i've been using After Effects for a while, and of course I know somethings gonna go wrong, every tab was moved around and quit hoping it would fix it's self, but it didn't so i had to move some things around, and i realized that i left the speed / frame rate at 15fps and didn't change it.

And now im stuck on this speed. any help?

I'm not an AE expert and find this filter confusing. Tried looking up more info on it but didn't find answers to the following:

 

1) What is the 'Preview Region' exactly? The name "preview" would seem to imply that it renders a smaller region while editing, for performance sake maybe, whereas the effect would be applied to the entire frame at render time. It doesn't seem to be the case.

 

2) If true, how can I apply such an effect to larger video sizes? The 'Preview Region' is capped at 1024x1024 pixels max, but my footage is 1920 wide.

After Effects closes while rendering

Hello,

 

yesterday i was editing my new Video in After Effects CC 2017.2 (14.2.0.198).

After i finished, i tried to render it today, but about one minute later it just closes itself without any message. I did not change anything in my render settings.

That is the first time that i have this problem.

 

I've already installed the recent updates. My Computer is running on Windows 10 Pro version 1511. I have 8GB RAM installed, and my CPU is the AMD FX(tm)-8320 Eight-Core Processor with 3.50GHz. I have 64-bit, i have two connected monitors.

Inverting a lighting effect ..?

I created this effect using CC Glass's "Point Light."  Is there a way to 'invert' it, so that it's bright around the outside and dark toward the center?  thnx

Pixel Polly Issue

Hey guys, I'm using the pixel polly effect and for some reason, when it 'explodes', the shreds of the left image are getting 'stuck' within some force field.

Does anybody knows how to fix it so the shreds will spread away like the right layer and won't get stuck?

Multiple Camera Compositingp

Hi, I'm working on a VR template in after effects, and need some help. The basic idea is that there is a 3D scene, and I collapse-transform it into six comps, each with a different camera rotated 30 degrees more than the last. These are then composited and stitched in a 'master comp'. The problem is that I have to copy all the lighting from the scene into the six different comps (it used to be eight in my prototype), as well as any 3D 'illusions' (e.g. camera-reactive particle effects). Is there any way to siphon off the views of six different cameras, all in the same comp, into my master comp? Sorry if the explanation came out a bit convoluted, I'm really tired.
Anywho, I'd be really glad if someone could help me out.

Hi everyone! I recently wanted to apply a box blur effect to one of my projects but I wasn't able to find it! When I searched in the presets it just gave Fast Box Blur and same things for Effects>Blur and Sharpen! Please help!

Bonjour , hier je suis tombé sur une video youtube par hasard. Dans l'intro de cette video il y avait un effet que je ne connaisait pas. J'aimerais vraiment trouver le nom de ce plug in ou effet.

 

L'effet c'est le tout premier, celui où il y a splash turquoise et maron

Motion Tile Effect Missing

So after watching many video editing tutorial, I decided to try to make an edit, myself, however, when I launched After Effects, to my surprise, Motion Tile was missing from my effects. I then went to the Plug-in folder and found out it was missing there too. I'm using After Effects CC 2017 and I'd like to either know if this is normal, and if not, if someone could upload the .aex file for me to download.

3D Camera tracker error!

3d Camer tracker: Layer size must match composition and use default transform values.

 

Okay, this sounds simple, but i cant get it to work!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I create a new comp, and use 1366x745, wich i think was what i recorded and then resized it to in Camtasia.  I then just drag 3d camera tracker onto it, an then POP goes the error!

 

What do i do?

 

btw, i have cs6

Microsoft Surface Book Pro and After Effects stylus bug

I've had this bug for the better part of a year and I'm totally up to date on all my drivers. I'm using a Surface Book Pro with Performance Base. Basically, After Effects registers my first tap with the stylus and ignores everything after that until I move the touchpad.

I've had this issue with every version of After Effects I've installed going back to 2014. I've cleared my preferences, installed the Wintab drivers, and installed the Surface Book Platform drivers. Anyone else had this issue? Anyone else fixed it?
